What is inflamed glands?

A gland is an organ which produces and releases substances that perform a specific function in the body. There are two types of gland.

  • Endocrine glands are ductless glands and release the substances that they make (hormones) directly into the bloodstream.
  • Exocrine glands release chemical substances through ducts to the surface of an epithelium or onto another surface within the body.

Glands (known as lymph glands or lymph nodes) swell near an infection to help body fight it. Sometimes a gland on just one side of the body swells.

Person might also have other symptoms such as:

  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Tenderness

Indications:

For management of symptoms of enlarged and inflamed glands.

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:

  • Calc flour 6x 19.36% w/w
  • Calc phos 4x 19.36% w/w
  • Calc iod 3x 19.36% w/w
  • Baryta carb 6x 19.36% w/w
  • Belladonna 3x 19.36% w/w

Mode of action:

Calc flour: A powerful tissue remedy for hard, stony glands, varicose and enlarged veins, and malnutrition of bones.

Calc phos: Glandular enlargement.

Calc iod: It is in the treatment of scrofulous affections, especially enlarged glands. Thyroid enlargements about time of puberty.

Baryta carb: Glands around ears painful and swollen. Submaxillary glands and tonsils swollen.

Belladonna: It has a marked action on the glands.

Dosage Directions for use
Dosage:

  • 2 tablets after every 2 hours with hot water.
  • Take tablets 30 minutes before or after meals.
  • Or as directed by registered Homeopathic physician.

Presentation: 20g & 500g tablets.
