The skin is the largest organ of the body, with a total area of about 20 square feet. The skin protects us from microbes and the elements, helps regulate body temperature, and permits the sensations of touch, heat, and cold.

Skin has three layers:

• The epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone.

Pharmacology:

HR 30 is a complete blood purifier and tonic. It contains Chiretta which is very effective stimulator of gall bladder and gastric acid secretions. It improves appetite and alleviates dyspeptic disorders. HR 30 contains Fumaria off, has a light, antispasmodic effect on the bile ducts and gastrointestinal tract. It is amphicholeretic. It is effectively used in liver and gallbladder complaints. HR 30 contains Juglans Regia which has astringent and fungistatic properties, the tannins and juglone in it reduces the inflammation of the skin and excess perspiration. HR 30 contains sarsaparilla in which steroid saponins are the main constituents that helps to eradicate skin irritation, rashes and psoriasis. These saponins have a strong diuretic effect, thus remove excess toxins from the blood and purify it. Moreover, Scrophularia nodosa in HR 30 has anti-inflammatory and demulcent effects on skin, Scrophularia suppresses leukocytes infiltration during the inflammation process and it produces soothing and irritation reduction effects on the affected skin.

Formula with properties:

Chirata 6D: intermittent fever due to blood poisoning, excess bile secretion, and indicated in many types of skin problems.

Fumaria Off 3D: it is a blood purifier, skin problems which are due to change in weather or boils in summer weather.

Hepar Sulph 12D: Unhealthy skin; every little injury suppurates. Ulcers very sensitive to contact, burning, stinging, easily bleeding, fetid smell from all over the body.

Juglans Regia 3D: Comedones and acne of the face. Crusta lacteal. Scalp red, and itches violently at night. Chancre-like ulcer. Axillary glands suppurate.

Sarsaparilla 3D: Emaciated, shriveled, lies in folds, dry, flabby. Rash from exposure to open air; dry.

Scrophularia Nod 3D: Prickling itching, worse back of hand. And other skin related problems.
